Originally opened as the Fox theatre before being operated by Carmike Cinemas in the 1990's. At some point after that, the cinema became part of Cinema Center Theatres then Digiplex Destinations. Carmike Cinemas reacquired this location when it merged with Digiplex Destinations in August of 2014.
AMC acquired this theatre when they purchased Carmike Cinemas in December 2016.
