The Rialto Theater is about the same age as the Sun Theater in Gothenburg, just ten miles away. It still has the classic vertical neon sign, with the name RIALTO cascading down. Prior to remodeling, a free-standing box office sat flush with the front walls, with access to the doors on either side. Just inside, to the right, is the manager's office.

In the lobby, a wheelchair ramp is flanked by stairs to the combination box office/concession stand, a U-shaped unit in wood that matches the wall paneling. To the left of this is an entryway to the video store, which is open seven days a week. The theater operates only on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Upstairs is a small balcony, seating about 15, adjacent to a bar. It is used for private showings. The Rialto still has a lot of its original equipment, although it is not used, including an old projector and film rewinder. Equipment is stored in part of the stage area behind the screen.

The owner claims that the screen is the largest in Nebraska except for the Imax theaters. She is the second generation of the family that has owned the Rialto for years.
