This theatre stopped appearing in the Casper Star-Tribune as a United Artists and started as a "Casper Cinemas" location on 7/27/1990.

Carmike began advertising this theatre on 6/12/1992. An article in the 6/18/1992 edition of the Casper Star-Tribune reported that Carmike had just purchased the "Cole Square Triplex and Frontier Theatres in Cheyenne and other theaters in Casper and Rock Springs from Cheyenne's Resources Financial Corp."
