An ad in the September 20, 1978 edition of the Culpeper Star-Exponent advertised the theater's open house to the general public starting September 22, with their official grand opening on September 27th.
An article in the January 3, 1999 edition of the Star-Exponent reported the theater's lease was not renewed and it the space would be adapted to fit a Food Lion. The same article spoke about the city hoping to have the theater reopen downtown.
