General Cinema operated this theatre from October 15, 1982 until August 4, 1983.
The December 25, 1983 edition of The Baytown Sun featured an ad from the Cinema 6 & 10 and Goose Creek Cinemas wishing "Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year from All of us at Cinemark Corporation." The Cinemark medallion was also included in this ad.
An ad in the November 18, 1984 edition of The Baytown Sun stated that Cinemark Super Savers would not be honored after December 31, 1984 at any Baytown Plitt Theatre.
