October 25, 1971 issue of Boxoffice references the October 20, 1971 opening of Redstone's Cinema 4-5 Monroe Street just west of the Franklin Park Drive-In. Each auditorium sat 750.

The article says that the original Cinema 1-2 opened on Secor Road in December 1964 with Cinema 3 being built adjacent in February 1968.
