Information for this tour was contributed by David Sparks. The Fox North Theater opened at Christmas 1967. It was later sold to Chakeres Theatres in the late 1970s, who twinned it and renamed it the Cinema North in 1977. In 1984, three new screens were built in the back of the theater and the theater became the Cinema North 1-5. National Amusements purchased the theater in 1988 and eventually closed it in the fall of 1999.
