Information for this tour was contributed by Darren Snow. Closed 8/8/96. Pretty much killed off by the 10-screen Sony Danbury that opened in January 1995, the Cinema Twin tried lowering prices from $7.75 to $1.99 in summer 1996, but it wasn't enough. The Cinema Twin, which opened in 1968, had 15-foot ceilings, floor-to-ceiling gold curtains and olive tinted faux-wood wallpaper surrounding the entryway. The last movies, appropriately, bore titles suggesting forces that have often been damaging to the cinema business: "The Cable Guy" and "Twister."
