Wellborne became the third operator of this theater when they reopened it on July 8, 2016, after CineAmerica defaulted on their lease in May. It was closed again by the end of November 2016.

In March 2017, the Venetian reopened under a new operator showing mostly Bollywood titles. FunAsia took over operations in September 2018 with their "Fun Movie Grill" concept.
