Information for this tour was contributed by Gary L Flinn. The Genesee Valley Theatres was built around 1973 as a twin theater, with an addition built around 1977 making it a four screen. It was built by Butterfield Theatres and was sold to Kerasotes Theatres around 1985. They split the original two auditoriums to make it a 6-screen theater. National Amusements bought the theater a decade later. It was closed when National Amusements opened the Cinema 10 nearby. The Genesee Valley Theatres was torn down in 2001 to make room for new retail development. Return to the top of this page or Return to the main page
