Carmike reopened this theatre after Rand Theatres vacated the space in November 1989. In 2005 they expanded to ten screens by adding five stadium seated screens to the side of the original building. One of the original five screens did not lend itself to stadium seating.
AMC acquired this theatre when they purchased Carmike Cinemas in December 2016.
