AMC opened this theatre in 1985 and ran it as a companion to their Academy 6, located elsewhere in the same mall. The Academy 6 closed in 2005, followed by this theatre in 2006. Sometime after AMC's departure, Fox Theatres operated this theatre.

It was remodeled in January 2017 and returned to AMCs operation, featuring recliner seating.
