Opened in 1885 as the Mesa Opera Rink with a 300-seat playhouse and ballroom dancing. A remodel in 1907 brought a larger 1000-seat auditorium and the name Majestic. It was renamed Mesa in 1930 and a complete remodel occurred in 1953.
