Information for this tour was contributed by Bob Monaco.

Frostproof was formed in 1906 and, shortly afterward, the townspeople set up a tent next to Frank Thompson’s masonry buildings on East Wall Street to show silent movies. On the weekends, this was Frostproof’s only source of entertainment. It was called the Thompson Tent Theatre. (Source: There's Only One Frostproof, 1976, compiled by Mattie B. Duncan)
