The Industrial Home building housed the Palace Theatre. The Industrial Home Theatre opened in October 1905 with vaudeville acts. It was renamed the Industrial Theatre in 1906 and began showing films along with the vaudeville acts. The theater was expanded later in 1906 and took on the name Industrial Family Theatre, eventually shortened to Family Theatre when it began running films exclusively. The Family went back to live acts in 1916 and became the Palace in 1917.
