Information for this tour was contributed by John Schmidt. Once owned by a man named Ostenberg, who sold his theaters to Commonwealth Theaters in the early 1960s. The Oto ran Spanish movies and was converted to a slot-car track. It had a beautiful tile front that was uncovered during the slot-car conversion.
The Otoe was one block east and a little bit north of the Midwest. It currently houses the Elks Club.
