Information for this tour was contributed by Matt Shepley. The Town Mall Twin opened around 1972. It was run by Interstate Theatres until 1988, at which time it was sold to Hoyts Cinemas. Hoyts operated it until 1996 when it closed. Each of the two theatres had seating for around 400.
