Information for this tour was contributed by Dave Felthous. The Kelso Theater, now the Kelso Theater Pub replaced a frame theater that had burned. It had 900 seats until the conversion to a cinema pub.
The Kelso Theater Pub has enjoyed more than ten years of popularity in the former Kelso Theater building. They show films that Regal won't book as well as move-overs from Regal's two small multiplexes. There are also live-music shows and other stage events, plus big-screen TV for things like the Super Bowl and Oscars. The old Jolly Lunch on the corner is also part of the operation, reincarnated as the Backstage Cafe. Beer and wine are available both at the pub and the cafe. And their pizza is outstanding.
