Information for this tour was contributed by David Brooks. The original Harbour, made of wood and a bit smaller than the new theater, was built in the late 1930s. The little movie theatre operated until the 1960s when it began to go downhill. By the late 1970s, it was running XXX stuff and finally abandoned in the late 1980s. I saw it again about 1990 and it was painted gray and very dilapidated. A local theatre group wanting to do live theater bought the old theatre and had it torn down and the new theatre built on the same site. Return to the top of this page or Return to the main page
