Dufwin: 517 - 17th St.: opened 8 October 1928; [name comes from combining last names of Henry Dufwin & wife Dale Winter who did repertory theatre there & elsewhere in Bay Area).

Renamed Roxie December 1930; closed 18 August 1983; gutted & transformed into office building, but original facade restored & saved.
