The 12/22/1972 edition of the Pontiac (IL) Daily Leader contained a brief article about Kerasotes purchasing this from ABC Great States.

An article in the Streater, IL Times from 8/21/1979 explained the pending demolition plans for this theatre, as well as an exhaustive history of ownership dating back to its 1883 opening.
