Information for this tour was contributed by Matt Lutthans. "Good Guys" audio/video store in Bellevue, formerly the John Danz Theatre, and still called "The John Danz Building" on the lettering along front, and still home (along with the Good Guys business) of "Sterling Realty Organization," formerly "Sterling Recreation Organization," better known as "SRO," which was THE major theatre chain in this area for many years before selling all but two theatres (The Puget Park D-I in Everett, WA, and the now-closed Samish Twin D-I in Bellingham, WA) to Cineplex-Odeon in the late 1980s.
The John Danz was one of SRO's "Big 4" theatres, which almost always got the 70mm blockbusters in the 1970s and 1980s. The four were: Northgate (Seattle), Cinerama (Seattle), John Danz (Bellevue), and Southcenter (Tukwila).
