Information for this tour was contributed by Dave Felthous.

The Cheerio eventually became the Queen Anne. In the early 1950s the Queen Anne Theater was remodeled into the Queen Anne Bowl, and was a bowling alley for many years. In the 1970s (or so) it became a nightclub, then Hoyt's Pub. During Hoyt's tenure the building had a serious fire but survived. It's still an eating/drinking establishment. The demise of the Queen Anne Theater left that neighborhood with just one theater, the Uptown, which still operates after a long-ago remodel/expansion into a triplex.
