Information for this tour was contributed by Charles Fisher.

The Valley View Cinemas opened at 95th & Antioch in May 1972 with a reserved seat engagement of "Nicholas and Alexandria" that ran for five months. Designed by Curtis & Associates Architects of Kansas City, Missouri, each theater held 310 seats.

Commonwealth Theatres took over operations in 1977 from owners Charles Fisher and Ronald Graves.

The cinemas were closed in 1985 and converted into a banquet hall.
