The South Bend Granada Theater stood on the east side of Michigan Street, directly opposite the Palace Theater (now the Morris Performing Arts Center). Sadly, this atmospheric theater was razed in 1972.

In 1940, the Granada took part in the premier of "Knute Rockne, All American", with future president Ronald Reagan (as George Gipp) and Pat O'Brien (as Knute Rockne) on hand.
