The January 15, 1941 edition of the Northwest Arkansas Times featured a number of articles about the theatre's grand opening. The large portion of one page was dedicated to explaining the theatre's seemingly intricate policy as follows:
"There will be two picture changes a week...that is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday...then Thursday, Friday, Saturday...these two pictures will be especially selected to appeal to the University crowd, and will be shown at a 26c admission with the Defense tax 3c and Sales tax 1c, the Ozark on Saturday, will be band night - or at 2:30 and 9:00 p.m. - the picture which opens at Total 30c. on SUNDAY, matinee rought to the Uark and shown at the Ozark admission price. The Ozark being closed that day. On Monday, then this picture returns for further showing at the Ozark. Sincerely, W.F. Sonneman, Director."
