Information for this tour was contributed by Erin Saelzler.

The Granville Opera House in Granville, Ohio, was destroyed by fire in 1982. The fire was blamed on an electric heater in the basement, and by the time fire fighters arrived the building was beyond saving, and the fire fighters concentrated on trying to save the Episcopal church next door (which they did). Today there is a small park on the lot where the opera house once stood.
