General Cinema acquired this theatre from Loews on 6/28/1972.

This theatre stopped being advertised by General Cinema and began as a Century Cinema Circuit location on 11/7/1973.

General Cinema began advertising for this theatre again on 12/24/1976.

The auditorium that was the El Miro was demolished but the facade was kept intact and is the face of the Broadway Cinema 4 built on the same site.
