Information for this tour was contributed by Grant Smith. The Casino Theater was built in 1913 by the owner of the Gunnison Co-op. The Beaux Arts-style theater was billed as "one of the most attractive amusement halls outside Salt Lake City." (1)
The Casino Theater was one of the first theaters in Utah to be built specifically for movies. The theater was also used for live stage shows.
