Information for this tour was contributed by Daniel Gibbs. The West End still looks very much like it should be showing movies, despite not having done so in nearly eighty years. It makes very good use of a very awkward lot (triangular), but was probably too little too early. Though the exterior, with its beaux-arts cupola and rounded entrance, is lovely, the interior was probably a little odd and the theatre doesn't seem to have ever competed very well with the neighboring Lord Baltimore. When the much larger and much more lush Capitol was built a block away, the West End closed for good.
