Information for this tour was contributed by Daniel Gibbs. Another house in the Pearce and Scheck chain. The current facade is a product of a late 1920s redecoration, very pseudo-Spanish in flavor (fake adobe and all). In its day this was one of the centerpieces of one of West Baltimore's larger business districts, including also the Capitol and West End theatres.
The theatre is, minus its marquee, in remarkably good condition. Currently in use as (what else) a church, I understand that the seats and much of the interior decoration -- a little bit Adamesque, a little bit Spanish, a little bit Deco -- are mostly intact.
