The August 2, 1973 edition of The Idaho Free Press featured an article about the opening of this twin theatre. At the time of opening each theatre sat 350 patron.
The inaugural features were The Sound of Music in theatre one and John Wayne in Cahill for theatre two.
Reopened in 2009 as the Northern Lights Cinema Grill, which then closed on October 2, 2017.
