The Princess Theatre opened on May 12, 1917 with 450 seats. It closed in 1993 and was purchased by a large number of town investors who formed the Princess Theatre Corporation. They remodeled the theatre and reopened it in 1995, and it continues to operate on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
