This large, 1000-seat single-screen theater was located in the parking lot of the Southpark Mall. The Parkway was owned by a trio of brothers who also owned the Sierra and the Capri in Rock Island. Due to its isolated location, many premieres were held at the Parkway, including "The Empire Strikes Back" and "Return of the Jedi".
