An article in the 4/29/1979 edition of the Salina Journal states that Dickinson had purchased this theatre from Mann earlier in the year.
A 9/16/1987 article covering the closure of the theatre stated an opening date of 2/23/1931 showing "Not Exactly Gentlemen" and would close showing "American Ninja II" on 9/17/1987.
