Information for this tour was contributed by Ken Roe. The original Regent was built for and operated by Hoyt's and was burnt out during the war. It was later re-constructed to its original design within the shell of the burnt out building. The auditorium was tripled in 1986. A new section has been built to the right of the main building which now houses additional screens. The No 1 screen located in the former circle of the original cinema seats 660.
