Information for this tour was contributed by Ken Roe.

Opened on 19th December 1973 as the 3 screen Albert Cinemas by Greater Union, a conversion of the old 1937 built Metro Theatre. Seating in the 3 screens was for, 724, 470 and 256.

The Forum Twin, which later became screens 4 and 5 was a totally different building located at 160 Albert Street. This opened in 1967 as a single screen seating 984. It was twinned in September 1982.

All 5 screens were closed in April 2001.
